Haha, after reading all the messages here, my iswara's fuel consumption is quite low. I have no data of city, highway or speeding. I am staying in KL and working in Klang. I use Federal highway everday, daily travel distance is 82km. I work 5 days a week. I do sometimes go out on weekends. My FC is RM0.165/km. Oh ya, my car is 6 1/2 yrs. I am thinking to change my car next year. Still headache which one to go for. My budget is below RM90k. City, Vios, Latio and Swift, which one better? [:D]

RE:WHAT'S YOUR ISWARA 1.3 LMST FUEL CONSUMPTION ?   Hyundai? No way! Why? FC is high! Spare part expensive! Quality low! I would like to emphasize the quality here. Sonata is premium car for Hyundai but yet the quality is really disappointed. The business manager in my ex company was driving Sonata. According to him, the air-cond has noisy sound and some smell coming form the air-cond. He sent to service centers for several time but yet unable to solve it. I sat in his car before, I noticed that the rubber material around the door started to fade from black colour to grey just after 18 months. Isn't it too fast? I heard many bad news from friends, relative and forums. I personally black list Hyundai.

alright, 100% city driving new FC after with iridium plugs, pro-rallye cables, sports air-filter, HKS muffler and bullet. 0.14cents/km. (with occasional speeding cos of increased power also..)
i have installed muffler on my car. now i am thinking of installing bullet also [:D] is FC better after install bullet and also performance of course [:D]?
i am not sure about just d bullet cos i installed both bullet n muffler 2gether. but i can feel a slight increase in hp but not much of FC change.. It depends on wat muffler u chose, cos someno diferent from d stock muffler... i chose a muffler best suited for AT cars.. cant remember the model no.. n i went 4 a silent bullet.. (bullets play an important role in exhaust acoustics) both my muffler n bullet is soundless on idle mod, but gives a nice solid bassy sound at high revs. this allows me to enjoy my ICE during slow cruises. but if u want significant FC change n increase in HP, do things that will affect ur CC (combustion chamber). stuff like plugs, cables, air filter. fuel regulators, extractors, etc.. this r some of the things that will give long term changes lah.. cos basically d CC is the one that'll give d output to ur car. (not to mention d other parts like clutch, flywheels, wheels etc. but those r for extreme mods like engine transplant). So if u plan 2 hv significant FC decrease or/n HP increase without engine transplant, give ur CC some boosts. just my 2 cts.. [:D]
good info...but dude, i think CC is 'Cubic Centimetre' lah, plugs wont give long term changes, it will give instant improvement (assuming ur old spark plugs are worn out)...long-term wise spark plugs will get worn out also...performance will drop...it is a wear n tear item dun 4get though, in most cases, spark plugs and cables will only yield tangible improvements when u have managed to cram in more air and fuel into the engine (via cams, carb upgrade and so on) where u would need a larger spark to ignite the more compressed mixture...if not, for stock engines, ori cables are good enough and it is not necessary yet to get ultra expensive plugs like iridiums as well.... one more thing, original engine can also benefit from lightened flywheels and lighter rims as well le, not just transplanted engines... about improving fc, a lightened crank pulley like mythelogy can also help...driving style is important and also regular maintenance...(off topic a bit [:D])

RE:WHAT'S YOUR ISWARA 1.3 LMST FUEL CONSUMPTION ?   I really concern about my fuel, hence I don't pick-up too fast to save the fuel. My ISWARA has 15 years old, I can run 430KM, with RM65. Is about RM0.15/KM.

RE:WHAT'S YOUR ISWARA 1.3 LMST FUEL CONSUMPTION ?   i've just got my new proton saga iswara. i had filled up my tank full and the petrol meter shows max level. however, after moving for 250km, the meter is still at the max level. i wonder if is it a good sign or a bad sign. good sign as in it is not consuming that much petrol. bad sign as in is my petrol meter is not working......!!

Been driving without CYCLONE for 1 month.. so this is my finding...The exhaust it the original Iswara small hole exhaust.. kekekeke not the big hole one.. By the way Enging tuning is also important.. I got mine retuned at Proton Service Center after 5,000km service.... before that fuel consumption was not good.. Took off the CYCLONE thingy & tried ..
